Mirabella: A.V.E. part 5

The next day, King Dedede steeped into the spotlight. "Ladies and Gentlemen," he announced.
"We will now present the most Magnificent, event ever seen! On this very ball we will construct a toon pyramid!"
"Hear that penguin talk," Penelope whispered to Bonnie. "You think he was going to do it."
"A stuffed shirt." Bonnie mutters to Penelope.
"I give you; the toons." King Dedede then blew his whistle, and the first toon, Gary climbed on top of a large ball.
Mirabella and Marvin watched from behind the curtains as the pyramid rose higher and higher, untill it almost reached to top of the big top. Marvin then closed them so that nobody can see them.
"That was a close one, they're almost ready now, Mirabella. Don't forget to wave that flag." Mirabella gave a demo to Marvin.
"Okay, okay. Don't wave it any more, I saw you." Marvin Said
What do I do?" asked Mirabella.
"Now, look. All you got to do is run out, see? Jump on the springboard." Explained Marvin "All right, now show me just how you're going to do it."
Mirabella backed up getting ready to charge.
That's it. Atta-girl, that's the stuff, come on!" Marvin said as Mirabella gave a short run until she tripped one of her legs and begain to lost her balance.
"Oh-oh-oh-oh-ohhh! Mirabella!" Marvin exclaimed as Mirabella fell to the ground in front of him. "Oh, those legs, we got to something! Quick!"
" Ladies and Gentlemen," King Dedede shouted, "You have now seen the most colossal pyramid of the greatest toons! Each one with - - -!
"That feathered windbag!" muttered Bonnie under the weight of the toons on her. "Why doesn't he come to the point?"
"And now, Ladies and Gentlemen," the ringmaster shouted, "I present the beautiful blue maiden who will spring from the springboard to top of the pyramid waving her little flag for a grand climax! Ladies and gentlemen... I give you; Mirabella the Octomaid!
Drums Rolled and trumpets blared. As the curtains opened, a bright light shone on Mirabella. She looked around and felt very nervous so she began to back away.
"Come on, get going!" called Marvin who tried to push Mirabella back outside knowing it's her chance. "What's the matter with you?"
"I'm too scared!" Mirabella replied still refusing to move.
"But Mirabella, it's you cue! You're on Mirabella!" Marvin said to her and then took out a pin. "Oh dear, I hate to do this." And with that, he pricked Mirabella on her back causing to yelp and ran very fast!
The Octomaid ran to the springboard. But before she could make the leap, her legs got in the way. He tripped into the Toon Pyramid.
Mirabella got up until when she saw what she had caused, she gasped "Oh no!"
"Oh dear!" Marvin murmured and the in panic, he ran out of the tent and took cover.
The toons teetered and swayed, they tried to keep themselves from falling off the ball, Mirabella tried to get away and as she kept running, she looked behind herself only to see that they're gaining on her.
Gary yelled at her "Out of my way, you eight-legged menace!" suddenly, Mirabella tripped over one of her legs and fell down unable to get up. Mirabella then ducked and clamped her eyes tightly.
The toons crashed into her and were flung into the air and they tumbled down, crashing into beams and platforms they smacked into walls and pulled down wires and ropes. Finally, they crashed in to the central tent pole.
The Big top began to sway and billow. Then with a huge groan, it collapsed. Mirabella was left sitting alone and miserable in the middle of the ruins.
After the damage was repaired, The circus headed for the next town. In their train car, the groaning toons blamed Mirabella for the accident.
"Oh, look as my beautiful hair!" whined Mindy looking at her hair all wrecked up the mirror from the accident.
"I never want to work with that doll-faced witch again," Remy complained with a broken arm.
"Oh you won't have to, Buxaplenty," Replied Penelope while holding an ice pack over her head, "because they've fixed her good!"
The toons gasped as Bonnie asked. "What do you mean?"
"W-what did they do?" asked Hope.
"Did they beat her?" asked Tara.
"What is it Penelope?" asked Jessica.
"Tell us." Said Crystal.
"Come on, I demand to know!" ordered Bonnie.
"Oh well, they've gone and made her…" then Penelope puts her hand on her forehead. "Oh dear, I just can't say it."
"Out with it!" shouted Gary.
Penelope replied quietly "Made her a troublesome clown truck."
"A troublesome clown truck?!" gasped Tara.
"No!" murmured Chrystal as Penelope nodded sadly.
"Oh, the shame of it," sighed Gary. "Let us take the solemn vow."
Everyone raised their hands as Gary announced "From now on, she is no longer… a toon." and with that, they each put their hands together for that their vow was now made.
