Since Dustin had left, Count Bleck looked around the churchyard area nervously. He knew that the next and last ghost would appear and it was something he would rather avoid. As the count looked around, he was unaware that a fog was closing in on him. Suddenly, he turned around, and saw the fog coming his way. Count Bleck gasped in horror and tried to run away, but the fog soon caught up to him and covered him.
Count Bleck had coughed a bit before looking around once more. Before he knew it, the whole abandoned church area was covered with fog. He looked nervous as he walked around, sometimes backwards. Suddenly he heard an 'Ahem!' behind him and jumped. He turned and came face to the face with a tall, mysterious and strange being with grey skin, black eyes and black spiky hair. This being wears a black goth cape (similar to Grim's from "Billy and Mandy"), a dark yellow shirt, pants and hat with a white "D10" in front, his body looks so much like an android with a brunette claw for a right hand.

(Author's note: Diesel 10 is from Thomas and Friends right now in KD476's human form in this story)

Count Bleck gulped as he spoke up. "Am... am I in the presence of the Ghost of Christmas Yet to Come?"
The figure nodded silently then answered. "Call me Diesel 10."
"Diesel 10, I fear you more than any specter I have yet met." said Count Bleck in fear.
Meanwhile, the narrators watched on from the abandoned church's doors. Soon enough, they were getting scared by this.
"This is too scary, I don't think I wanna see anymore." shivered Timmy in fear.
"Me either!" agreed Homestar instantly.
"But what about the story?" ask Nana
"Sorry Nana, I don't wanna see what this spirit has in store for Count Bleck." said Yoru, fear inching in his voice.
"Well, when you're right, you're right." gulped Dawn. Although brave, there were some places even she the narrator wouldn't go! She turned to the "audience". "Hate to say it, folks. But you're on your own in this. We will meet you at the finale!"
With that, the others headed inside while dragging Nana who refused to leave him, but fortunately for Nana, a familiar gloved hand grabbed Dawn, Yoru, Homestar, Timmy and Francine by the collar of their shirts or scarves. The five turned to see Count Bleck glaring at them.
"You six aren't going anywhere! I need you to stay here if I'm going to continue this adventure like your little doll like friend wished!" The count demanded gesturing to Nana.
"Okay." shrugged Dawn. "But here's a deal, half of us will go and the rest will stay."
"We'll flip a coin on who will go" began Nana as she pulled out a coin. "It'll be boy vs girl this time."
With that, Nana tossed a coin into the air, heads for boys and tails for girls, when the coin landed back into Nana's grasp, it's tails meaning the girls must carry on.
Then, the boy narrators heard the sound of a wolf howl. "MOOOOMMY!!!!" screamed Timmy.
With that, the boy narrators headed back inside the church, closing the doors and locking them, not to mention bolting the door shut, and... Aw, you get the idea!
"Well, looks like we girls got no choice." said Francine with a shrug.
"Okay." said Dawn in fear.
The four looked at the spirit as Count Bleck spoke up. "I'm ready to follow you and learn what I can...with a thankful heart."
"Good." Said Diesel 10, the sound of the way Diesel 10 speaks made the four even more scared as he just put its hand on Count Bleck's shoulder. With a snap of his finger, a portal appeared before them.
"Oh yeah. I guess we better get on going, eh?" Francine asked nervously.
"Well, lead on, Diesel 10." said Dawn.
Count Bleck, Dawn, Nana, Francine and Diesel 10 walked towards the portal. As soon as they stepped into the portal, the scene suddenly began to swirl around like some sort of portal as they kept going through it.

Sooner or later, the ten arrived in a part of Toon Town a year later. For the moment, it was raining outside. As the scene reset itself, Count Bleck heard some laughing. He saw that it was coming from four men Mr. Rude, Yosemite Sam, Elmer Fudd and Captain K'nuckles.
"I don't know much about it either way." remarked Yosemite Sam. "I only know that he's dead!"
"Yeah!" agreed Mr. Rude.
"When?" asked Captain K'nuckles.
"Last night, I believe." Yosemite Sam answered.
"Wonder what he died of?" asked Mr. Rude. "I thought he'd never go."
This caused her the four men to laugh cruelly.
"Well I don't know or care why he's gone." Elmer Fudd remarked. "I just like to know what he did with his money."
"He didn't give it to me." said Captain K'nuckles. The others said 'no' in some sort of agreement.
"Well it's like to be in a cheap funeral." said Yosemite Sam with a smirk. "I don't know a single soul would go to it."
"I wouldn't mind going." said Mr. Rude. The others looked at him in surprise.
Then, Mr. Rude smirked as he spoke. "If lunch is provided!"
Count Bleck looked on in shock as the four men laughed at Mr. Rude's joke.
"Speaking of which..." said Yosemite Sam, checking his watch. "It's almost that time!"
"Let's go, then!" Mr. Rude said as he left with the others.
The count that kept on watching paused, and then turned to the others.
Count Bleck turned to Diesel 10 "I know some of those gentlemen." He then ask. "but what poor retch do they speak?"
"You'll see." said Diesel 10 grimly.
Instead of answering, the figure pointed to a door nearby with its staff. Gestured by Diesel 10, Count Bleck, Dawn, Francine and Nana entered. Inside were four figures named Synonamess Botch (from 1983's Twice Upon a Time movie), Dr. Doofenshmirtz, Madame Mim and Eris (from Billy and Mandy).
The figure up front, Botch, spoke up. "So, back from the house of sadness I see."
Madame Mim laughed. "Ha! It's sad that he didn't die years ago, that old skinflint."
"Hear, hear!" agreed Eris.
"So, Dr. Doofenshmirtz, Madame Mim and Eris..." said Botch with a smirk. "What have you for me, something to remember him by?" He smirks as he tickled Madame Mim, making her laugh.
"Knock it off, boss!" said Eris, rolling her eyes.
Dr. Doofenshmirtz took out a pair of collar buttons that Botch soon took. "I stole these collar buttons from his dresser! They must cost a fortune!" Dr. Doofenshmirtz said.
"Those things?" laughed Madame Mim as she took out a pair of bed curtains while Botch observed the buttons the buttons. "Check these out! I got his bed curtains! Very fine damask ever!"
"Aw, you always get the good stuff." scowled Dr. Doofenshmirtz.
Soon, Botch took the curtains and looked them over. "Hmm. Although very cheap damask, they are still worth a few coins."
"Ha! These are worth more!" said Eris, laughing as she took out a bunch of blankets. "I got his blankets! And right where he died too!"
Botch then took the blankets. He was amazed as she felt them. "They are still warm, Eris. I don't pay extra for that."
"You should. It's the only warmth he ever had!" laughed Eris evilly.
This caused the others to laugh as well.
"The only warmth he ever had!" laughed Madame Mim.
"For once, you said something we all agree upon." said Eris with a smirk.
As the four continued laughing, Count Bleck looked shocked. He left and went back to the figure. "Okay, okay. I get it. The case of this unhappy person might be my own." said Count Bleck, trembling. "My-my life tends that way now. But come on! Isn't there any tenderness connected with this world? Show me it or that conversion will haunt me forever!"
"Yeah! What he said!" agreed Dawn, Francine and Nana at the same time.

As if to obey what the four had requested, Diesel 10 waved its hand. In a quick flash of light, and to Dawn, Francine, Nana and Count Bleck's surprise, they were in front of a familiar house.
This made the four smile. "Why it's the house of Johnny and Edwin! The best place for joy and laughter." exclaimed Count Bleck happily.
"Yeah!" agreed Dawn, Francine and Nana in happiness.
That was when Count Bleck looked back at Diesel 10 with a smile. "Thank you very much, Diesel 10! You're the best!"
At that moment, Francine's happy smile turned into a concerned frown as she looked around. "Hold on. Something isn't right..." said the red haired girl.
Then, Count Bleck, Dawn and Nana looked around in concern to see that Francine was right. The streets were strangely empty nowadays, and there was no commotion. This made Count Bleck look extremely worried. He knew that Johnny and Edwin should have been approaching home with Bubbles right about now.
"Wait a minute. Francine is right. It's too quiet around here. Why is it so quiet?" Count Bleck asked in concern.
All Diesel 10 did in response was "Look" while he pointed to the house with its staff. Nodding, Count Bleck, Dawn, Francine and Nana looked through the window. The four saw Grace and Mirabella near the stove cooking dinner once more. But to their concern, Grace wasn't her usual self when they last saw her. In fact, she was not only cooking, but crying as well.
Blossom looked concerned as she came over to her stepmother. "Stepmother Grace? Are you crying again?"
Grace looked at her stepdaughter, her eyes red with sorrow and sadness. "Oh no. Not really. The lamp... it's hurting my eyes again."
"I see." said Buttercup, nodding sadly.
"Me too." Mirabella agreed, sadly as she was stirring the pudding. She, Blossom and Buttercup knew that Grace was really crying and they couldn't blame her. Not after what happened to...her.
Count Bleck quickly suspected what happened and gasped, tears in his eyes. "Oh no. Not cute little Bubbles."
Back inside, Grace dried her eyes her eyes, and she turned to look back at the girls. "Okay, okay. Now my eyes get weak in... in the dim light. I just didn't want your stepfathers to see my eyes like this when they got back home for anything in the world. They should be back by now."
At the spit, Dukey was turning it slowly as he looked on in concern. "I think they're walking a little slower these past two evenings."
Just then, the door opened up and a sad, teary-eyed, sniffling Johnny and Edwin came in. Unlike last time when Count Bleck was last there, Bubbles wasn't with them. And everyone knew the reason why.
As they looked up and sighed, Johnny dried his eyes with his sleeve. "Hello, my dears."
"Stepdads Johnny and Edwin." Blossom said with a sigh.
"Oh." Buttercup said sadly as they, along with Blossom, and Dukey, came over and hugged their stepfathers.
"Hello, girls." Edwin said with a sad sigh.
"Hello, Dukey." Johnny said sadly.
"Hey." Dukey responded sadly.
"Everyone..." Mirabella said, sighing sadly as she came over. "Go set the table."
As the children went over to the table to do as they were told, Grace and Mirabella nodded and then turned back to their husbands. "How was the churchyard?"
Johnny sighed sadly as he spoke. "I picked a spot for Bubbles where she can see... Well, it's-that spot on the hill where you can see the ducks and other critters on the river. Bubbles..."
Grace, knowing what Johnny was going to say, patted her husband on the back. "She always loved watching the ducks and other critters on the river."
Count Bleck walked away from the house in sadness, and then looked at Diesel 10.
"Oh, dear. Is there a Christmas that brings this awful scene?" groaned Count Bleck as he looked back at the house. "How can they endure it?"
With a sad sigh, Dawn shook her head. " don't know. I just don't know..."
Inside the house, as the family sat down to eat very sadly, Edwin spoke up, totally misty-eyed. "It's all right, children. Life is made up of meetings and partings. That is the way of it." He continued as they all looked at him. "I'm sure we shall never forget Bubbles the cute one or the first parting that there was among us."
The family nodded sadly as they hung their heads down while Blossom and Buttercup sniffed sadly. Tears were streaming down the boys' cheeks now.
Behind the table was Bubbles's chair. The girl wasn't on it but two things were there: a crutch and a doll Octi without an owner. One thing to say about this sad scene: Dustin's grim prediction was really true in this sad future. The only one seeing the crutch and Octi was Francine.
"That's awful! The poor, little girl!" said a saddened Francine.
Dawn then glanced at Nana and Francine with a sad look. "C'mon, guys. It's time. We should get going before we lose track of Count Bleck and Diesel 10."
The other two nodded sadly with tear-filled eyes. With that, the three walked off to follow to follow the Christmas Future spirit, and Count Bleck. What they didn't know was that they were heading towards Destiny's Cross Roads...

End of Chapter 8
I dedicate this to all my friends this holiday. Here's chapter 8 of "The Cartoon Christmas Carol".

I'll soon post the nineth chapter of that story.

Please no mean comments, I really worked hard on this for the holidays.

Everything belongs to their respectful owners but Francine Paddington, Edwin Harley, Grace the Pink Mermaid and Mirabella and Blue Octomaid belongs to me.
