Brave Little Flygirl part 4

The day, Blumiere continued driving the wagon and cutting the thorns out. The others sat there, until Zatch got caught on the thorn. "Help! Don't leave me!" Maggie and Ponygon held Zatch as they got his cloak off of the thorns; suddenly, he heard something like a chirp, "Listen, listen what's that?"
"Meru-Meru-Me~?" Ponygon said hearing it too.
"Shh!" Calumon said to Ponygon as they all kept quiet as they listened; they looked up at the sky, still listening to some noises.
"Over there!" said Maggie.
"Let's go," Fifi said as Blumiere kept on driving to follow the sound.
"Oh, look!" said Zatch, as they are about to head out of the thorn field.
"Lights! I see the lights!" said Homestar. They made it to the exit and stopped at the most beautiful meadow ever. The toons got out of the wagon and walked towards the meadow. They walked across the flowers, until they saw a fish, named Flounder, leaps from the water crossing their path then back in. They also saw other animals playing and a frog named Kermit relaxing playing the banjo. Suddenly, Maggie felt something by her wings, until she saw a little red squirrel named Rodney. He began to play with Maggie's wings. The others kept hearing the music.
"Why, that's the same music I used when I was drumming at Big Green, like this," Mighty Ray began drumming on Blumiere's head, much to Fifi's shock.
"Cut that out!" Fifi snapped, knowing Blumiere's not enjoying it. Zatch and Ponygon watched Flounder greeted Kermit a friendly hello as Kermit friendly waved back as Flounder jumps back into the water. Zatch giggled, until he saw a few burrowing toon owls circled around him and crawls on him, but they are not pecking him with their beaks. Zatch smiled and hugged them carefully.

Meanwhile, Maggie is getting really annoyed when Rodney kept playing with her wings. "Get out of here!" Maggie yelled, scaring Rodney away. Suddenly, she saw Jim Crow (from Disney's Dumbo), looking at her.
"Hey guys, check out that girl!" said Jim Crow. The other crows looked at her, until Maggie just had enough. She dashed on her own two legs as they chased after her. She quickly hid behind the bush. What she didn't know is that a male seedrian (just a generic one) came to life and looked at Maggie. He touched her wing and Maggie jumped. The fly looked at the male seedrian as it began to hug her, thinking that she's a girl seedrian.
"No, no, it's just my bright colors. I'm not a seedrian," Maggie smiled, but the male seedrian kept hugging her. Maggie dashed away and went behind the bush where Calumon was looking for her.
"Maggie, where have you been?" Calumon asked but Maggie didn't answer, she thought for a moment and decided to check on the male seedrian with Calumon. They looked through the bushes and what she saw is that the male seedrian looked down, very sad. Maggie closed the bush and walked away, feeling very guilty. Calumon followed her hoping that male seedrian will soon find happiness eventually.
Meanwhile, everyone but Blumiere and Fifi began playing and dancing as Maggie and Calumon joined the others.
"Help me! Help, these owls are taking me!" Zatch begged, being carried by the burrowing toon owls.
"Hey, you leave him alone!" Maggie and Ponygon pulled Zatch away from the toon owls. Zatch and Ponygon gasped when they saw a toon owl, pecking the photo. Ponygon grabbed it with his mouth as Zatch shouted "Stop it! Give me that!" Ponygon whacked it with the picture lightly and joined up with Maggie, "He was pecking on the master," he put the photo back.
"Time to go," said Maggie. They all waved goodbye to the animals. Maggie and the others moved and left the meadow, until they've reached the dark woods with taller trees.
"You sure that this is the right direction?" Maggie asked, worried.
"Certainly, I am sure as I am honest," Mighty Ray replied.
"In that case, we're definitely lost," said Homestar.
"But there might be lions in there," Zatch said, scared.
"Tigers and bears, oh my!" Mighty Ray added.
"He's such a baby!" Homestar glared at Zatch and making baby noises. Maggie and Ponygon shoved them aside glaring at both of them. Maggie smiled and pets Zatch while Ponygon loves up on Zatch, making him feel better. Blumiere kept on driving through the dark woods. They all saw a Noctowl flying pass them. Zatch is scared while both Maggie and Ponygon held him. The all kept going at the night is coming. Homestar used the flashlight to look around in this dark place. Blumiere kept on driving until the wagon began to slow down; he's worried and exhausted.
"What's the matter Master?" Fifi asked.
"The battery is running low. We should give it a rest. Turn out that light!" Blumiere ordered as he had one arm around Fifi holding her close to him.
Homestar glared as he turn off the flashlight, "Okay." The wagon stopped and everyone got off. Maggie walked slowly, until she, Fifi and Blumiere heard the rustle of the bushes. They all turned around quickly and looked around, alarmed.
"Do we have to stop here?" Zatch asked, getting off with Ponygon following him.
"Only for a while," Maggie replied.
"Just long enough to lose our minds. We'll be cannibals within a few days, I've seen that happen," said Mighty Ray.
"And you'll be the first to go, ray-face," said Blumiere.
"Hey guys, we can stay in here, look!" Homestar is inside the tree; he turned on the flashlight and the others saw a scary face on it. The others except Calumon who was looking the other way gasped and ran past him inside the bushes leaving Calumon still present as he spun a little and landed onto his bottom. "Oof!"
Homestar is confused, "What's the matter?"
"Eaten alive, the poor sap," said Mighty Ray. Homestar turned around and saw the scary face on the tree; he screamed and Calumon moved out of the way just in time as Homestar dashed to the bushes. Mighty Ray smirked, "Wow, I thought you were a goner."
"You wish!" Homestar said as Calumon shook his head a bit.
Maggie walked out of the bushes, "You know guys, we are going to need some kind of shelter."
"Yeah, a shelter from the likes of them!" Blumiere glared at Mighty Ray and Homestar.
"Come over and say that, cranky count!" Mighty Ray snapped while Homestar blew raspberries at the blue man.
"What did you say?" Blumiere snapped.
"Oh sorry about that. I was going to say, vacuous vampire!" Mighty Ray said. Blumiere got real angry, including Fifi and is about to beat Mighty Ray up with his scepter. He and Blumiere walked in circles like they're in a boxing match with Fifi backing up Blumiere with a pouty look on her face. They began to run towards each other, but Maggie got in the middle, trying to stop them from fighting.
"Hey look," Homestar said. Maggie, Blumiere and Mighty Ray, including Fifi and Calumon stopped and saw a tent and the two mamodos in front; Zatch and Ponygon smiled gently. Fifi calmed down and then came up to Blumiere. "Are you okay?" Blumiere looked softly to Fifi. "My apologies, kid," he then pats her shoulder softly.
Later, everyone went to sleep for the night, inside the tent to rest. Blumiere was holding little Fifi securely in his arms softly in his soft sleep. Maggie pats Zatch on the head, "Thanks."
"Oh, that's alright," Zatch yawned and went to sleep next to her as Ponygon snuggles to Zatch.
Homestar fluffed his pillow and quickly went to sleep, but his eyes snapped open when he saw Maggie curled up next to Zatch and Ponygon. Homestar is concerned, "So, what's this thing with you and Zatch?"
Maggie woke up, "What thing?"
"You know, all of a sudden you're like that little horse fellow; you're being so nice to him all of a sudden," said Homestar.
"Well, I was just thinking that I just got this feeling that I should be nice to him for a change, you know? Now I feel better," said Maggie.
"Well, that's weird," said Homestar.
Calumon woke up and stared at him, "What's weird about it?"
"I don't know. I mean, you were never this nice to him before and all of a sudden you're the second to be so nice to him all the time and…I don't know. I'm just trying to understand," said Homestar.
"Well, it's kind of hard to describe…its like being next to a new electric guitar," said Maggie as Homestar began to think, "Let's see…it's like a warm and amazing feeling inside, like a glow that just…"
"A glow?" Homestar asked.
"Yeah," Calumon said.
"I think I know what you're talking about. It's like the feeling I get when I think about the master," said Homestar.
"Yeah, that's it," said Maggie.
Homestar remember when the master wrapped a bandage on his leg, "I remember when my leg was injured and I thought, 'that's it it's over! I'm going to be put to sleep!' But then she wrapped the bandage around my leg."
"Well, that's all there is to it," said Maggie.
"That's very interesting…good night, fly girl," Homestar quickly fell asleep.
"Good night," Maggie yawned and went to sleep, dreaming.
In Maggie's dream; Betty watched Maggie performed her rock star music with her guitar for a bit and Maggie laughed in happiness. Everything is perfectly fine, until the smoke came out of nowhere and grabbed Betty. Maggie tried to save her, but the smoke dragged her through the door. Maggie stared helplessly that Betty is gone, until she a creepy old toon, the Joker.
The Joker grinned evilly at her, holding a fire hose, "Run!" Maggie did and ran in fast speed as the Joker turned on the hose and tried to spray water on her. The waves turned into forks and Maggie kept avoiding it. Later, Maggie handed on to the shower curtain, looking down at the tub full of water as the Joker laughed evilly. Maggie's four arms began to slip and she tries her best to hang on. Without warning, Maggie screamed and fell into the water, screaming loudly!
At the end of Maggie's terrible dream; the lightning immediately woke Maggie up. The others woke up as Maggie walked out, seeing that there's a bad storm is on. Suddenly, the strong wind began to blow Zatch away by some powerful force! Maggie and Ponygon ran after him to save Zatch; he grabbed her hand, but it slipped and Zatch is being blown away.
"MAGGIE!" Zatch screamed.
"ZATCH BELL!" Maggie yelled.
"MERU-ME~!" Ponygon cried.
"Zatch!" Homestar turned on the flashlight to find Zatch as the others began to find him. Suddenly, the flashlight began to flicker and Homestar tried his best to keep it on, but it failed.
"The battery's gone dead!" Blumiere yelled holding on to his top hat.
"We're trapped here like rats!" Mighty Ray added.
"I'm scared!" Fifi cried as Blumiere held her tightly and wouldn't let go while keeping his hat on. "I'm here for you, kid!"
"Zatch Bell!" Maggie called, not giving up.
"Meru-Meru-Me~!" Ponygon shouted not giving up either.
"Come on you piece of junk, don't you fail on me!" Homestar tried his best. He saw the lightning flashed and looked at the others, looking for Zatch. The athlete has no other choice; eh stood on top of the generator holding the flashlight into the air, waiting for the lightning to strike the flashlight. Without warning, the lightning struck not only the flashlight but him as well. The flashlight's bulb is glowing really bright as Homestar was being electrocuted and then it's bulb exploded. The bright explosion got the others attention and saw him and the emerald glowing.
"Knuckle-head!" Maggie screamed. The sparks faded away, but Homestar fell off the generator dropping the flashlight and landed on the ground, knocked out. Maggie, Calumon, Ponygon, Fifi, Blumiere and Mighty Ray ran towards him. Fifi begin to cry for her poor friend as Blumiere held Fifi tightly in his arms trying to comfort her. They saw that he's fully injured and the generator kept glowing brightly, brightly enough to move on.
